The Neiser House at Heinrichstraße 12 in Düsseldorf-Düsseltal was built between 1954 and 1955 for Joachim Neiser according to his own designs.
Sight 2: Hungerturm
The Düsselthal Rescue Centre for orphans and street children was built in 1822 by Count Adelberdt von der Recke-Volmerstein as one of the first German institutions of its kind. It was built on the site of a Cistercian monastery. The monastery was a gift from the Elector Johann Wilhelm of the Palatinate to the Cistercians. The Spekkerhöfe used to found the monastery, named after the billet dams made of bacon, later gave the "Speckermönchen" their name. The street on which the monastery was located was named after Count Adelberdt von der Recke-Volmerstein, the founder of the rescue centre.
Sight 3: Zoopark
From 1876 to 1943, the Düsseldorf Zoo was the zoo in Düsseldorf, the tradition of which is continued today by the Aquazoo – Löbbecke Museum in Nordpark.
Sight 4: Jugendhaus
The Jugendhaus Düsseldorf (JHD) is an institution of the Catholic Church in Düsseldorf, which houses various offices and associations of church youth work. The building used today was built between 1952 and 1954 and is a listed building.
Sight 5: Heilig-Geist-Kirche
The Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort is one of the nine churches designed by the architect Josef Kleesattel in the city of Düsseldorf.
