Sight 2: Raumflugplanetarium „Juri Gagarin“
The space planetarium "Yuri Gagarin" in Cottbus – named after Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin (1934–1968), the first man in space – was opened on 26 April 1974 after almost two years of construction on today's Lindenplatz. Its dome with a diameter of 12.5 m offers space for 91 visitors. The planetarium technology allows the representation of a realistic starry sky regardless of the time of day or season, the geographical position or the weather. However, it is also possible to leave Earth and get to practically any place in the universe known so far. Planetarium shows, but also lectures, concerts or theatre performances take place regularly. Various programs can also be shown in other languages, such as English or Polish.

Sight 3: Katholische Kindertagesstätte im St. Elisabeth-Haus
The Catholic nursing home "St.-Elisabeth-Haus" is a listed building in the district-free city of Cottbus in the state of Brandenburg. The building initially served as a sisters' settlement of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Elisabeth until 1983, today the building houses a daycare center, among other things.
Sight 4: St. Maria Friedenskönigin
The Church of St. Mary Queen of Peace is a Roman Catholic church building in the city of Cottbus in Brandenburg, Germany. It belongs to the provost parish of Zum Guten Hirten Cottbus in the deanery of Cottbus-Neuzelle in the diocese of Görlitz. The building is located on Adolph-Kolping-Straße in the Mitte district and is a registered architectural monument in the list of monuments of the state of Brandenburg.

The Weltspiegel Film Theatre in Cottbus is the second oldest functional cinema building in Germany after the Burg Theatre in Burg and the oldest in Brandenburg and Berlin.

Sight 7: Wasserturm
The water tower in Vetschauer Straße in Cottbus was built in 1914 on behalf of the Prussian State Railways to supply steam locomotives and was decommissioned in 1955. The tower stands immediately south of the Cottbus station area and is a listed building. The elevated tank belongs to the type of "Klönne tank systems" and was built by the Dortmund steel construction company Aug. Klönne. Water towers like this one are models for the construction of numerous elevated tanks.
