The Toulon Opera is a French opera house located in Toulon. The second-largest opera house in France, after the Palais Garnier in Paris, it opened thirteen years before the Garnier. It is currently the home of the Opéra Toulon Provence Méditerranée, under the direction of Jérôme Brunetière. The opera company performs about eight operas a season in the opera houses of Toulon, Avignon, Nice and Marseille.

The National Maritime Museum of Toulon has been located next to the Arsenal's Clock Tower since 1981, one of the few historical sites to have survived the Second World War. A true memory of the Toulon arsenal, whose majestic monumental door dating from 1738 it preserves, the museum has a collection of models of ships and galleys. The Toulon Marine Museum is part of the National Maritime Museum along with the museums of Paris, Brest, Rochefort and Port-Louis. Its existence is intimately linked to the history of its port and its arsenal. It is accessed through the old gate dating from 1738.
