Individual Sights in LimogesSight 1: Ancien four à porcelaine G.D.A.
The Casseaux kiln is a porcelain kiln located in the commune of Limoges, in the Haute-Vienne. Its volume of 80 cubic meters made it possible to fire 15,000 pieces of porcelain simultaneously. It is the only one, among the five remains of round kilns still present in Limoges, to be classified as a historical monument, under the name of the former G.D.A. porcelain kiln, and accessible to the public.
Sight 2: Borne milliaire
The milestone of Limoges was probably a Roman route column, found in France, known at least since the eighteenth century and destroyed in 1893 by the city of Limoges.
