The Saint-Aubin church is a parish Catholic church located in Limay, in the Yvelines, in France. It goes back, in its oldest parts, in the 1140s. It was the base of the bell tower and the old late Romanesque style choir, which followed a single nave of the same demolished era towards the end of the 17th century. The rest of the current church was built from around 1230 north of the Romanesque church, in the Gothic style. It is a square choir, with flat bedside, and a double nave, all vaulted with warheads and at a single level of elevation. The first two spans of the double nave were rebuilt after the Hundred Years War, including the portal, in the flamboyant style. The stone arrow of the bell tower dated from the same time as the Gothic choir, but was completely rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century. Remarkable for its double vessel plan, its two vaults of anterior warheads in the middle of the 12th century and its bell tower, and housing interesting furniture, the Saint-Aubin church was classified as historic monuments by decree of May 26, 1944 , and is today at the center of a large parish as "Limay-Vexin", which brings together sixteen municipalities and eighteen places of worship. Dominical masses are celebrated in the Saint-Aubin church every Sunday at 11 a.m., and it also welcomes masses during the week on Friday and Saturday morning.

The medieval Collegiate Church of Our Lady of Mantes,, is a large and historically important Catholic church constructed between c.1155 and 1350 in the small town of Mantes-la-Jolie, about 50 km (30 mi) west of Paris. Although not a cathedral, it was built on a cathedral-like scale. Its grandeur, its quirky design and its strong associations with the Capetian dynasty make the church particularly interesting to architectural historians.
