Sight 6: Tour du Bourreau
The Executioner's Tower or Corhaut Tower is the only surviving tower of the fortified medieval enclosure of the town of Lectoure (Gers). Its name comes from the fact that it was the residence of the executioner, while "Corhaut's Tower" was its official designation, due to its location in the Corhaut district, near the gate of the same name.
