The Château de Gray is an old fortified castle of the eleventh and thirteenth centuries, of which only the fortified entrance tower and the surrounding walls, from the thirteenth century, remain in Gray in Haute-Saône, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Until 1668, it was the seat of the governors of Franche-Comté. Since 1903, it has housed the Baron-Martin Museum in a seventeenth- and seventeenth-century palace. The entrance tower since 20 December 1916, vaulted cellars since 24 October 1988, and the surrounding walls since 13 September 1991 are classified as historical monuments.

The Hôtel Gauthiot d'Ancier is a 16th-century mansion in the historic centre of Besançon, in the Doubs region of Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Built by the Gauthiot d'Ancier family, the façade and roof of the old hotel have been listed as historical monuments since 18 February 1942, and the bay of the old half-timbered house preserved from the second floor of the house has been listed as a historical monument since 28 January 1994.

The National Museum of Esperanto in Gray was founded in 1977 by Georges Junier, known as Géo Junier. Its official inauguration took place in 1987 in the presence of the Polish consul, one hundred years after the creation of Esperanto by Zamenhof. The museum occupies one floor of the Maison Pour Tous and exhibits collections of various objects related to Esperanto. In the square adjacent to the museum, Géo Junier has installed an analemmatic dial echoing Zamenhof's project to unite men through Esperanto.
