The Parc des Promenades is a public park located in Alençon, near the town hall. Built in 1783 and renovated in 1999, the current park offers large shaded lawns, small rest areas and playgrounds for children. With an area of more than four hectares, it is the second largest green space for the people of Alençon, after the Koutiala arboretum.
