Sara Hildén Art Museum is an art museum located in Särkänniemi, Tampere. Sara Hildén, whose name the museum bears, was a clothing entrepreneur and a great art lover who acquired an extensive collection of Finnish and foreign art during her lifetime. Today, the Art Museum is maintained by the City of Tampere, and it houses permanently the collection of contemporary art owned by the Sara Hildén Foundation. The focus of the museum's collection is on art from the 1960s and 1970s.
Sight 2: Särkänniemi
Särkänniemi is an amusement park in Tampere, Finland, located in the district by the same name. The park features an aquarium, a planetarium, Doghill Fairytale Farm, an art museum and an observation tower Näsinneula. Särkänniemi is the second most popular amusement park in Finland with Linnanmäki in Helsinki being the most popular one. Särkänniemi has four rollercoasters: the inverted coaster Tornado, the family motorcycle launch coaster MotoGee and Hype, a launched steel Sky Rocket II coaster, and family coaster Vauhtimato. The half-pipe coaster called Half Pipe was recently removed due to multiple reasons. Särkänniemi is owned by the city of Tampere and attracts over 600 000 visitors annually.
Sight 3: Särkänniemi Aquarium
Särkänniemi Aquarium is located in the Särkänniemi Experience Park area in Tampere. The aquarium has more than 200 different species of fish, reptiles and amphibians from all over the world.
Sight 4: Koiramäki
Koiramäki is a theme park area located in the Särkänniemi amusement park in Tampere, based around the Koiramäki book series created by Mauri Kunnas. The area used to house the Children's Zoo, whose animals are now located in Koiramäki. The area was renovated for the summer season of 2013 to its current form as Koiramäki. Särkänniemi has announced that the cost of the reform will be over EUR 5 million.

SS Kuru was a steam ship which sank on 7 September 1929 in the lake Näsijärvi, in Tampere, Finland.
