It is located in the center of the northern flank of El Ejido Park, where Amazonas Avenue ends. It originally served as the gateway to the gardens of the Palacio de La Circasiana of the Jijón y Caamaño family, located on 10 de Agosto and Colón avenues in the north center of Quito.
