Sight 1: Danish Welfare Museum
The Danish Welfare Museum is part of Svendborg Museum. It is a social history museum that mainly tells the story of welfare in Denmark. The various exhibitions show how society has treated its most vulnerable, both children and adults. The exhibitions tell about the people on the dark side of life, and about what the welfare state and private individuals have done to help them.
Sight 2: Naturama
Naturama is the name of Svendborg's natural history museum. From the museum's opening on 2 June 1935 until January 2005, it bore the name Zoological Museum.
Sight 3: Christiansmøllen

Christiansmøllen, which was originally called 'Møllmarks Mølle' is located high in the landscape on Kongebakken in the vicinity of the bridge over Svendborgsund. It is a tower turbine of the Dutch type windmill with a gallery that is one floor higher than usual. The current mill was built in 1860, after a mill on the same site burned down. It is built with a square whitewashed sub-mill in the foundation wall, and there are gates for passage. The upper mill is round, whitewashed and fully walled up to the hat, which is onion-shaped and covered with cardboard. The wings have a stern for sails and are swung manually. The mill is yaw with wind rose. A large collection of mill furniture has been preserved, intact, including three grinders in the mill loft.
