The Imperial Spa, now also called Spa I, is a Neo-Renaissance representative spa building located at 306/2 Mariánské Lázně Street on the southern edge of Karlovy Vary. At the time of its greatest glory, the Imperial Spa was the centre of spa care in the city. Since 2010, the building has been protected as a national cultural monument.
Sight 2: Labitzkého lávka
The Labitzky Footbridge connects Mariánskolázeňská Street with Mírové Square in Karlovy Vary, where it spans the Teplá River at river kilometre 43.9. The footbridge dates back to 1874 and was repaired in 1990. In 1991 it was declared a cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture. It has been preserved as the only one of the set of footbridges in the spa centre.
Sight 3: Hot Spring Colonnade
The Hot Spring Colonnade is one of the five main colonnades in Karlovy Vary. It is located in the centre of the spa area below the Church of St. Mary Magdalene on the right bank of the Teplá River. It partially forms a pedestrian bridge over this river. It covers the most famous and popular Karlovy Vary mineral spring, the Hot Spring. In addition to the Hot Spring geyser, there are five drinking stands with hot spring water at temperatures of 72, 57 and 41 °C in the area of the colonnade. In the past, the Hot Spring was covered by many buildings, a gazebo, an Empire colonnade, a cast-iron or temporary wooden colonnade.
Sight 4: Hot Spring
Get Ticket*The Hot Spring is the official name for the largest thermal water spring in Karlovy Vary, which is also the warmest thermal spring in the Czech Republic with a temperature of 73 °C. The Hot Spring in the form of the Hot Spring Fountain is located in the centre of the spa area of Karlovy Vary in the Hot Spring Colonnade, where it reaches a height of up to 12 m thanks to the pressure and content of gaseous carbon dioxide. Since May 2016, the Hot Spring Fountain has been provisionally located at the southwest entrance to the colonnade, and in 2022 the fountain was moved back to its original location in the colonnade hall. In the area of the Hot Spring Colonnade, there are three drinking stands with hot spring water not only at the original temperature, but also cooled to temperatures of 57 and 41 °C.
Sight 5: Hygie
The statue of Hygia, also known as the statue of Hygieia, in Karlovy Vary represents the goddess of health, cleanliness and the moon, Hygieia. It is located in the Hot Spring Colonnade, it dates back to 1878, the author of the work was Vincenz Pilz.

Sight 6: svatá Maří Magdaléna
The Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Karlovy Vary is a Roman Catholic parish church, built in the Baroque style in the years 1732-1736 in the historical part of the town. The church, designed by architect Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer, is the architectural landmark of the Karlovy Vary spa colonnade. It is protected as a national cultural monument.
