The Guignard House Museum (MCG) began to be formed in 1960, but was officially inaugurated in 1986, in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais. Its collection brings together works by Alberto da Veiga Guignard, considered one of the greatest Brazilian painters and draftsmen of the twentieth century.

The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a Catholic church in the Brazilian city of Ouro Preto, and an important example of the Rococo tradition in Brazil. It is a listed monument by the National Institute Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN).

Sight 4: Igreja São Francisco de Assis
The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi is a Rococo Catholic church in Ouro Preto, Brazil. Its erection began in 1766 after a design by the Brazilian architect and sculptor Antônio Francisco Lisboa, otherwise known as Aleijadinho. Lisboa designed both the structure of the church and the carved decorations on the interior, which were only finished towards the end of the 19th century. The circular bell towers and the oculus closed by a relief were original features in religious architecture of that time in Brazil. The façade has a single entrance door under a soapstone frontispiece under a relief depicting Saint Francis receiving the stigmata. The interior is richly decorated with golden woodwork, statues and paintings, and the wooden ceiling displays a painting by Manuel da Costa Ataíde.

Sight 5: Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Mercês e Perdões
The Church of Our Lady of Mercy and Forgiveness of Ouro Preto, also known as the Church of Mercês de Baixo, was built between 1740 and 1772. It underwent renovation in the mid-twentieth century and was completed in 1772. In 1740, the Chapel of Senhor Bom Jesus dos Perdões already existed on the site. Aleijadinho, "received the sum of six octaves of gold for payment" of the chancel's risk. The church represents, in addition to the high altar, the choir, four side altars and two pulpits carved in wood.

The Igreja Matriz de Santa Efigênia is a Roman Catholic church located at the top of Ladeira de Santa Efigênia in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Formerly known as "Our Lady of the Rosary of the Blacks of the Chapel of the Cross of Alto do Padre Faria", the Mother Church of Santa Efigênia is of great importance to the Baroque of Minas Gerais, in addition to having expressive symbolic elements of Afro-Brazilian culture.
