Sight 1: Dorpermolen
The Dorpermolen is a watermill located on the Bosbeek, in the center and near the church of Opoeteren in the Belgian province of Limburg. The existing building is the result of several construction phases. This windmill was already mentioned in 1407 and rebuilt in 1530. Finally, this flour mill building was rebuilt in stone in 1859. The mill has been in the possession of the Cornelissen family since the end of the 19th century.
Sight 2: Sint-Dionysiuskerk
The Church of St. Dionysius in Opoeteren, dedicated to Dionysius of Paris, took its current neo-Gothic form in 1905.
