1. Casa-Torre de Calderón de la Barca

The Calderón de La Barca house-tower is located in Viveda, Cantabria and is made up of a medieval fortified tower from the twelfth century enlarged in the fifteenth, and a mountain palace from the seventeenth century, built by the Calderón de Oreña family, who here changed their surname to Calderón de la Barca, whose most famous bearer was the great writer. It was declared a historic-artistic monument in 1982, becoming an asset of local interest declared in 2002.

2. Museo Nacional y Centro de Investigación de Altamira

The National Museum and Research Center of Altamira, also known as Altamira Museum, is a center dedicated to the conservation of, research into, and the sharing of information about the cave of Altamira in Santillana del Mar (Cantabria), Spain, named a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is one of the National Museums of Spain and it is attached to the Ministry of Culture.

3. Ermita de Santa Justa

The hermitage of Santa Justa, located on the beach of Santa Justa, in Ubiarco, is a construction semi-excavated in the rock of an anticline. On November 12, 2010, its declaration as an Asset of Local Interest with the category of property was announced. Semi-rupestrian in character, it only has two masonry stone walls, in addition to the single-pitched tile roof, all attached to the cliff.

4. Torre de San Telmo

The wall of the tower of San Telmo is the ruin of an old medieval watchtower located on a cliff next to Santa Justa Beach, near Ubiarco. It dates back to the fourteenth century. On the cliff where it is located, the Hermitage of Santa Justa also stands.

5. Castillo de Vispieres

Vispieres Castle is known as the remains of an early medieval tower located at the top of the Vispieres peak, in the town of the same name, within the municipality of Santillana del Mar. Of this fortified tower, only remains of the walls remain.
