Santa Eugènia de Vila-Romà

Santa Eugènia de Vila-romà is a parish church in the neighbourhood of Sant Joan de Palamós. It is documented in 1314 as the chapel of Sant Joan. Later, the parish church of Santa Eugènia de Vila-romà was moved there and became the chapel of La Pietat. The current building was built in 1765, according to an inscription. There are dates and pieces from earlier periods that possibly come from the old parish. In the last reforms, when the pulpit disappeared, the base was moved to a side chapel with the function of a small altar (1968). A year later, the constructions attached to the apse were made, which disfigured the complex.
