Book Free Tour*The Puerta de Madrid is a monument in the Spanish city of Alcalá de Henares, in the Community of Madrid. Built in 1788, it is located on Calle Andrés Saborit, near the urban centre of the town, entering from the traditional route that connects Alcalá with the town of Madrid.
2. Complutum
Complutum was an ancient Roman city located in the present-day city of Alcalá de Henares, Spain. It has been partially excavated and the impressive remains can be seen today at the Complutum archaeological site south west of the current city, about a kilometre from the medieval centre.

Alcalá de Henares is a Spanish city in the Community of Madrid. Straddling the Henares River, it is located 31 kilometres to the northeast of the center of Madrid. As of 2018, it has a population of 193,751, making it the region's third-most populated municipality.
4. Parador de Alcalá de Henares
The Parador de Alcalá de Henares consists of two unique buildings with more than four hundred years of history. The "Hostería del Estudiantes" was founded in 1929 on the site of the old Colegio Menor de San Jerónimo or Trilingüe. And the new building, officially inaugurated on July 23, 2009, occupies three plots of the original 16th-century plans. On plot no. 14, there was the Colegio de Mercedarios Calzados, in the area of the current carved garden. The alley of El Pozo separated him from the Colegio de San Basilio. On plot 15 was the Colegio de Caballeros Manriques and corresponds approximately to the entrance and lobby of the parador. On plot 16, the Dominican College of St. Thomas Aquinas was founded.
5. Centro de interpretación de Alcalá Medieval
The Alcalá Medieval Interpretation Centre, formerly known as the Burgo de Santiuste Interpretation Centre, is located in Alcalá de Henares (Spain). It allows you to take a tour through the history of the city during the Middle Ages, from the end of the Roman Empire to the beginning of the Renaissance; accompanied by material objects of the time. It helps to understand the origins of the current city of Alcalá and the main medieval spaces that are preserved in it, such as the walls or the Archbishop's Palace.
6. Castillo de Alcalá La Vieja
The Castle of Alcalá la Vieja is located in the municipality of Alcalá de Henares, in the eastern part of the Community of Madrid (Spain). It is a medieval fortress, built by the Muslims, whose first references date back to the tenth century. Of the old fortification, only two defensive towers are still standing, recently restored, and remains of some towers and the wall, which are in a dilapidated state.
7. Ermita del Cristo de los Doctrinos
The University Hermitage of the Santísimo Cristo de los Doctrinos in Alcalá de Henares is popular architecture, of the purest Castilian Baroque. It has a secluded chapel, in which you can see the carving of the Christ of the Doctrinos, a Mannerist work by the Jesuit Domingo Beltrán, as well as an excellent collection of religious art from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

The Colegio Menor de San Ciriaco y Santa Paula, popularly known as Colegio de Málaga, is one of the educational centres that made up the former Cisneriana University of Alcalá de Henares, and which currently houses the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Alcalá.
9. Colegio-Convento de San Basilio
The College-Convent of San Basilio Magno in Alcalá de Henares is in the Baroque style. It was built in 1660 as a junior college of the University of Alcalá, currently a university cultural center. It is an Asset of Cultural Interest of Spanish heritage with the code RI-53-0000095.
10. Aeródromo Barberán y Collar
The Barberán and Collar airfield was an old military aeronautical installation located on the outskirts of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) Spain. He had special relevance during the Spanish Civil War. Currently its land has been enabled as external campus of the University of Alcalá.
11. Ermita de Santa Lucía
The hermitage of Santa Lucía de Alcalá de Henares is one of the most emblematic religious buildings in the city. It is located in the heart of the historic centre, at the confluence of Calle Tercia and Calle Victoria, in front of the Cathedral-Magistral.
12. Corral de Comedias de Alcalá
Corral de Comedias de Alcalá de Henares in Alcalá de Henares, Community of Madrid, Spain, is one of the oldest preserved theatres in Europe. Built in 1601–02 and designed to mirror the Corral de la Cruz in Madrid, the architect was Francisco Sánchez.

13. Capilla de San Ildefonso
The chapel of San Ildefonso was the church of the Colegio Mayor San Ildefonso of the University of Alcalá and was completed in 1516. Francisco Vallés and Antonio de Nebrija are buried here, and it features the sepulchral monument of Cardinal Cisneros.
14. Colegio de los Irlandeses
The Colegio Menor de San Jorge o de los Irlandeses, of the University of Alcalá, was founded in 1630 and built from 1649 to 1652, in order to accommodate theology students from Ireland, Flanders and Holland.
