The Tolmin Museum is public institution which covers the areas of archaeology, ethnology, general history and history of arts at upper Soča Valley region in Slovenia. It is located in the Coronini mansion in Tolmin.

2. Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit on Javorca

Holy Spirit Church, Javorca is a memorial church near Zatolmin in Slovenia. It is located on Javorca Hill above the Polog Plateau, and is about 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) from the village. It was built as a memorial church for fallen soldiers on the Battles of the Isonzo. Near the church is located Blek's farmhouse, which was renovated in the year 1998, after the earthquake in Posočje, but doesn't have any residents. Access to the church is on the road from Zatolmin, which goes steep above the Tolminka River and crosses several smaller streams and smaller waterfalls. Not far from Javorca is a permanent settlement Zastenar farmhouse.

3. Gregorčič waterfall

Gregorčičev waterfall is the first and highest waterfall on the Volar stream. It is 88 m high and is located between the villages of Selce and Vrsno. The waterfall was named after the poet Simon Gregorčič.

Tolmin Gorges is the common name for the Gorges of Tolminka and Zadlaščica. They are the lowest and southernmost entry point to the Triglav National Park and the most important natural attraction of the Tolmin Municipality.

5. Vrh nad Škrbino

The peak above Škrbina is a 2,054 m high mountain in the Julian Alps, after Tolminski Kuk and Podrta gora, the third highest peak in the long ridge of the Lower Bohinj Mountains and at the same time the southernmost Slovenian two-thousander. The peak, named after Škrbina northwest of it, rises above the extensive plateau of Komna with the mountain Za Migovcem in the north, its southeastern ridge falls over the intermediate peaks of Meja, Rušnati vrh and Vrh Planje to the saddle Duboko, south of the peak there is a climbing wall called Škrbinska ploča. The mountain is located within the Triglav National Park.
