1. Grintovec
Grintovec is the highest mountain of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, with an elevation of 2,558 metres (8,392 ft). It is a popular location for hiking, climbing and skiing. The first recorded ascent was in 1759 by the botanist Giovanni Antonio Scopoli.
2. Small Castle
Little Castle in Kamnik, Slovenia, once formed part of a castle constructed in the 11th or early 12th century at the strategic site above the narrow passage near an important trail. The Romanesque chapel of St. Eligius is one of the most important Slovene medieval monuments, despite later alterations, and is one of the oldest of its kind in Europe. The chapel features a wooden ceiling and exquisite fresco paintings. Kamnik's Medieval Days festival takes place at the foot of the castle every June.
3. Cerkev svete Ane
St. Peter's Church St. Anne's Church is a parish church of the Holy Spirit, which stands on the Wine Peak above Tunjice. It was built in the late Baroque style and serves as the parish church of the Tunjica Parish.
4. Brana
Brana is a ridge mountain of the Kamnik Alps in northern Slovenia. It is located between the Logar Valley to the north and the Kamnik Bistrica Valley to the south. The mountain is part of the central Kamnik group, a long ridge that includes the highest peaks of the range such as Grintovec, Kočna, and Skuta. Brana is sometimes climbed as part of a long traverse of the entire Kamnik ridge.
5. Ojstrica
Ojstrica is a mountain in the eastern part of the Kamnik Alps with a pyramid-shaped top that is visible from far away. The name Ojstrica derives from the Slovene word oster 'sharp'. There is a 600-meter (2,000 ft) high wall on its northern side to the bottom of the Logar Valley. The eastern side, down to the Roban Cirque, also has a high wall. There are several climbing routes.
6. Planjava - Vzhodni vrh
Planjava is the highest mountain of the eastern Kamnik Alps in northern Slovenia. On the western side there is a steep wall over the Kamniško sedlo pass, on the eastern side runs a long ridge and on the northern side there is an almost 1,000-meter (3,300 ft) high wall above the Logar Valley.
7. Budnarjeva muzejska hiša
Budnar Museum House is located in Zgornje Palovče in the municipality of Kamnik. The age of the house is estimated at 370 years, and the foundations of the house at 500 years. The restored and listed Budnar Homestead is owned by the Municipality of Kamnik and managed by the Kamn'k Tourist Board. The homestead is named after the last owner, Cvet Budnar.
8. Preskar Cottage on Velika Planina Alp
The Preskar byte is the only specimen of an oval bighorn byte that has been converted into a museum. The byte has a characteristic oval shingle roof and is without windows or chimney. It is divided into two parts; In the center is the shepherd's dwelling, and around it is a shed for cattle. Preskar's byte is open to visitors.
9. Slap Orličje (Orglice)
The Orglice waterfall is an approximately 40 m high waterfall in the side valley of the torrent Kamniška Bela, the left tributary of the Kamniška Bistrica. Due to easy access to the pools below the rocky waterfall, it is a popular family excursion spot.
