The Roman Catholic Church "Saint Anthony of Padua" is a place of worship in the city of Arad. It was built between 1902 and 1904 by the architect Milan Tabacovici from Arad. It was consecrated in 1911. The place of worship has elements representing the classicist, baroque and Renaissance styles.

2. Fortress of Arad

The Fortress of Arad is a fortification system built in the city of Arad, Romania, on the left bank of the Mureș River in the 18th century at the direct order of the Habsburg Empress Maria Theresa. The fortress today lies in the city's Subcetate neighbourhood, on the former military border between the Habsburg Empire and the Ottoman Empire. Over the course of its existence, it has been used as a military garrison and a military prison. Since 1999, it has been the headquarters of the Mixed Romanian-Hungarian Battalion.

The "Birth of St. John the Baptist" Cathedral is a monument of Baroque architecture in the city of Arad. The edifice was built between 1862 and 1865 under the direction of the architect Anton Ziegler. The main financiers of the construction were the Mocioni family and the banker Gheorghe Sina from Vienna.
