2. Piscinas de Marés

The Tidal Pools of Leça da Palmeira is a public swimming pool on the beach of Leça da Palmeira in Matosinhos municipality, in the district of Porto, Portugal. The structures consist of two natural pools filled with fresh sea water, designed and built between 1960 and 1973 by Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. It is one of Siza Vieira's early projects and it is his second design in Leça da Palmeira following his work in the Boa Nova tea room, located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) to the north of the pools.

The Obelisk of Praia da Memory, also referred to as MEMORY OBELISCO, a commemorative memory pattern or monument of Mindelo, is an obelisk located in the current parish of Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo, in the municipality of Matosinhos, Portugal. It was built in memory of the landing of July 8, 1832, which occurred on the beach next to Arnosa do Pampelate.

Casa de Chá da Boa Nova is a restaurant designed by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. Situated on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, it is in the Leça da Palmeira parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Porto District. The building is close to the Tidal pools of Leça da Palmeira designed by the same architect, and the Leça Lighthouse, another local landmark. It has been classified as a national monument since 2011.
