1. Suvorov mountain

Suvorov mountain

Suvorovskaya Mountain is the unofficial name of a long hill on the conditional border of Transnistria and Moldova near the villages of Gyska and Hadjimus, 5 km south of Bendery. On its top there is a mound, popularly called Suvorov. The mountain was also named after the mound. During the Great Patriotic War, the hill had the closed name "Height 150". There are many legends associated with the hill.

2. Bendery Fortress

The Bendery Fortress is a 15th-century fortress on the right bank of the Dniester River in Bender, Moldova, built from earth and wood during the reign of Prince Stephen the Great. In 1538 it was conquered by the Turkish sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, who ordered it to be rebuilt in stone and enlarged.

The monument to Pavel Tkachenko was opened on April 9, 1961 in the Pridnestrovian city of Bender in honor of the 60th anniversary of the birth of a prominent figure in the underground communist movement of Bessarabia and Romania, an active participant in the Bendery armed uprising Pavel Dmitrievich Tkachenko.
