1. 旧尾藤家住宅

The former Oto Family Residence is a historical building located in the Chirimen Kaido (Kaetsu Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District) in Kaetsu, Yosano Town, Yosa-gun, Kyoto Prefecture. It has been designated as an important cultural property of Japan. The former owners, the Oto family, have been Tango's leading raw silk merchants since the Edo period, and successive owners have served as a daishoya, a shoya, a town mayor, a bank president, and the president of Kaetsu Railway Co., Ltd. In addition, many historical materials have been preserved, and it is a very important cultural building for understanding the history of the Kaetsu area from the early modern period to the modern era.
