Shōkōji (勝興寺) is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji sect located in Fushiki Kokokufu, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The mountain number is Yunlong Mountain. The main statue is Amitabha Buddha. It is known for having many cultural properties, including 2 National Treasures and 10 Important Cultural Properties. It is nicknamed "Furukohan" by the locals. On April 24, 2015 (Heisei 27), it was recognized as a Japan heritage as a constituent cultural property of "Takaoka, a town where the townspeople's culture related to the Kaga Maeda family blooms -People, skills, and heart-".

The park opened in April 1951 and moved to its current location in 1960. Later, the park was renovated and opened in April 1981. As of December 2013, 162 animals of 43 species are bred. Japan belongs to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
