Shokoji Temple is a Buddhist temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji sect located in Fushigi Kokokufu, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The name of the mountain is Unryu Mountain. The honzon is Amitabha. It is known for having many cultural properties, including 2 national treasures and 10 important cultural properties. It is nicknamed "Furukohan" by the locals. On April 24, 2015 (Heisei 27), it was certified as a Japan Heritage Site as a constituent cultural property of "Takaoka, a town where the culture of the townspeople related to the Kaga Maeda family blooms -People, skills, and heart-".

Maeda Toshinaga Cemetery is the gravesite of Maeda Toshinaga, the second head of the Kaga Maeda family, located in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. It has been designated as a national historic site. The area around the cemetery is a scenic area known as the "Maeda Park Scenic District". On April 24, 2015, it was recognized as a Japan Heritage Site as a constituent cultural property of "Takaoka, a town where the culture of the townspeople related to the Kaga Maeda family blooms -People, skills, and hearts-".

Keta Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the Fushiki-ichinomiya neighborhood of the city of Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. It one of four shrines claiming the title of ichinomiya of former Etchū Province, and has one of the strongest claims, as it is located in close proximity to the ruins of the provincial capital, kokubunji and the Sōja of Etchū Province, and the local place name is also ichinomiya". The main festival of the shrine is held annually on April 18.

Takaoka Kojo Park Zoo is a zoo located in Takaoka Kojo Park (Takaoka Castle) in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Opened in April 1951 and moved to the current location in 1960. Later, it opened in April 1981. As of December 2013, there are 43 species and 162 breeding. I belong to the Japan Zoo Aquarium Association.
