Chausudake is a stratovolcano located in Nasu Town, Nasu District, Tochigi Prefecture, with an elevation of 1,915 meters, consisting of several lava flows, pyroclastic flows, a summit pyroclastic cone, and a lava dome. The mountain is part of Nikko National Park. It is one of Japan's 100 famous mountains and is also known as the main peak of Nasu Mountain or by the alternate name Nasu-dake.
