1. Ainokura village
Gokayama is an area within the city of Nanto in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. It has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its traditional gasshō-zukuri houses, alongside nearby Shirakawa-gō in Gifu Prefecture. The survival of this traditional architectural style is attributed to the region's secluded location in the upper reaches of the Shōgawa river. This is also the reason that Gokayama's lifestyle and culture remained very traditional for many years after the majority of the country had modernized. Many of the houses surpass 300 years in age.
2. 高瀬神社
Takase Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the Takase neighborhood of the city of Nanto, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. It one of four shrines claiming the title of ichinomiya of former Etchū Province. The shrine's main festival is held annually on September 13.
3. Mt. Ogasa
Mt. Ōgasa is a mountain in the Ryohaku Mountains with an altitude of 1,822 m on the border between Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture and Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. It has been selected as one of the 300 famous mountains in Japan.
4. Mt. Kongodo
Kongodozan is a mountain with an elevation of 1,650 m, straddling Toyama City and Nanto City in Toyama Prefecture. The summit is located in Toyama Prefecture, while the southeastern side of the mountain area is situated in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture. It is one of Japan's 200 famous mountains and is located within the Shiraki Minami Prefectural Natural Park.
5. Mt. Yaotome
Mt. Yaotome (八乙め山) is a mountain in Inami, Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The altitude is 756 m. There is also an old ski resort, campgrounds, log cabins, tennis courts, restaurants and observation decks.
6. 水無山
Mt. Mizunashi is a mountain that straddles Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture and Hida City, Gifu Prefecture. It is designated as one of the 100 mountains of Gifu. The altitude is 1505.6m. It is the core of Shiraki Minashi Prefectural Natural Park.
7. タカンボウ山
Mount Takanbo (タカンぼう山) is a mountain located in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The altitude is 1,195.6 m. Takambo Ski Resort is located. The western half of the mountain is the territory of Hakusan National Park.
