The castle of Countess Adelaide is located in Susa, about 50 km west of Turin and houses the city's Civic Museum and Interpretation Center of the Susa Valley territory. Located on the hill overlooking the historic center, next to the famous Arch of Augustus, one of the oldest castles in Val di Susa, the Segusa fortification has been remodeled several times over the centuries, but the restorations of recent decades have rediscovered some medieval features. The name by which it is known refers to Adelaide di Susa, which in the eleventh century brought the ancient Segusio, the surrounding lands, many fiefdoms of Piedmont and the Mont Cenis Pass into the orbit of the House of Savoy. In the Middle Ages, the fortress was in fact a fortification and residence for their lordship. In 2017, the museum spaces reopened after restoration.

The Arch of Augustus is an important monument constructed in the city of Susa, Piedmont, in the province of Turin. It was originally built at the end of the 1st century BC to record the renewed alliance between Emperor Augustus and Marcus Julius Cottius, a Celto-Ligurian ruler who had been made king and Roman prefect of the Cottian Alps. The arch, together with other remains from the period, such as the Roman amphitheatre and a Roman aqueduct, underscore the importance that the city of Susa had during the Roman period.

The Savoy Gate was one of the main gates of the city of Susa and is a fine example of Roman military architecture in the Susa Valley. Located along the Roman walls of Susa, today it is located next to the Cathedral of San Giusto and overlooking the homonymous Piazza Savoia. Together with the Arch of Augustus, it is one of the city's symbolic monuments.

The Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art of Susa, inaugurated on 22 September 2000, strongly desired by Bishop Vittorio Bernardetto, was built to a design by the architect Maria Pia Dal Bianco, ideally picking up the baton left by Monsignor Severino Savi in the field of protection and knowledge of the sacred art of the Susa Valley.

The convent of the Friars Minor of Susa is a Franciscan complex founded in the first quarter of the thirteenth century outside the walls of Susa. Its medieval structures are well preserved: two cloisters and the chapter house are visible, while the church has valuable frescoes.
