The Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Foresta, abbreviated as the Santuario della Foresta is one of a local cluster of four sanctuary-monasteries, originally based on rural oratories founded in the Rieti Valley by Francis of Assisi in the areas near Rieti, region of Lazio, Italy. This sanctuary is located about 3.5 km from Rieti, and near the town of Castelfranco.
2. Chiesa di Sant'Antonio Abate
The church of Sant'Antonio Abate di Rieti was built as an integral part of an architectural complex existing since the beginning of the fourteenth century, which included a hospital and a cemetery. The entire complex was born at the foot of the hill on which the Roman Reate had been developing.
3. Teatro Flavio Vespasiano
The Teatro Flavio Vespasiano is the main theatre and opera house in Rieti. It was opened on 20 September 1983, after ten years of work and finishing touches; directed by architect Achille Sfondrini. It takes its name from the Roman emperor Titus Flavius Vespasian who was born in sabina.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is the most important Catholic place of worship in Rieti, the cathedral of the city and mother church of the diocese of the same name. It is decorated with the title of minor basilica and is counted among the national monuments.

The diocesan museum of the ecclesiastical assets of Rieti is a museum path that winds between the environments of the cathedral and those of the Vescovile Palace, in which works of sacred art and liturgical objects owned by the diocese of Rieti are exhibited.

The Basilica of Sant'Agostino is one of the most important churches in Rieti. It was declared a minor basilica in 2010. It stands on Piazza Mazzini, a short distance from the train station and almost opposite Palazzo Ricci.

The church of Santa Scolastica is a religious building closed to worship in Rieti, now used as an auditorium. It is located along Via Marco Terenzio Varrone, not far from Porta Cintia and the Arco del Seminario.
