Get Ticket*Kamarina or Camarina was an ancient city on the southern coast of Sicily in Magna Graecia. The ruins of the site and an archaeological museum are located south of the modern town of Scoglitti, a frazione (borough) of the comune (municipality) of Vittoria in the province of Ragusa.
2. Cava dei servi
The Servi quarry is located in the south-eastern part of Sicily, where the Iblei Mountains rise, between the municipalities of Modica and Rosolini. It is a quarry with a rather varied geological conformation, consisting of an alternation of biocalcarenites cemented with greyish-white macroforaminifera, in irregular banks with a thickness of between 50 cm. and 2-3 meters, and of creamy white marly calcarenites, poorly consolidated, which constitute the Irminio member of the Ragusa formation, i.e. the upper member into which this formation is divided (the lower part, Leonardo member, does not outcrop in the area.

The Iblean Archaeological Museum of Ragusa is located near Via Roma, attached to the north end of the new bridge. It is located on the first floor of the Mediterranean building, built at the end of the fifties. The Torre Vigliena or Torre del Bracello is a coastal defense tower in the free municipal consortium of Ragusa on the Mediterranean coast. It was built in the years 1595 - 1607 at the end of the Braccio della Colombara, in the territory of Punta Braccetto, a seaside hamlet straddling the municipalities of Ragusa and Santa Croce Camerina. It was armed with cannons and inside were two soldiers and a corporal who commanded them.
