1. Chiesa di Santa Lucia

The small church of Santa Lucia is located in Potenza, in a small area between Via Portasalza and Via Santa Lucia. The Church, together with the ancient village surrounding it, is of clear medieval origin. The Church should date back to about 1200. It has always been dedicated to Saint Syracusan. The Church is located outside the old walls of the old town, on the western side at the end of Via Pretoria. It is defined for its location, 'extra moenia' (outside the walls) in a pastoral visit report of 1571. The virgin and martyr Lucia, protector of the blind, who, like many other martyrs of the first centuries, had an ancient cult in the city. The seat of a lay brotherhood that looked after its decoration, the Church damaged by the earthquake of November 23, 1980, has recently been restored. On Sunday, the friars of the nearby parish church of San Michele are officiated by the minor friars.

2. Chiesa della Santissima Trinità

Santissima Trinità is a Romanesque-revival church located on Via Pretoria 123 in the city of Potenza, Basilicata, Italy. The church is now infamous as the seventeen year hiding place of the body of Elisa Claps, a young woman murdered by Danilo Restivo in 1993. The parish priest at the time of Claps's disappearance had denied the police permission to search the church despite it having been the last place where the young woman had been seen alive. The church was only searched after Restivo was arrested in England for the murder of Heather Barnett.

3. Teatro Francesco Stabile

The Teatro Comunale Francesco Stabile is the main theatre of the city of Potenza. Located in the historic center in Piazza Mario Pagano, it is named after the musician Francesco Stabile from Basilicata. It is the only opera house in Basilicata, as well as the only historic theater in the region. It is considered the most representative building of the Lucanian capital.
