1. Santa Maria dei Quercioli

The church of Maria Santissima Ausiliatrice, known as the church of the Madonna dei Quercioli, is a sanctuary located in the hamlet of Quercioli in the municipality of Massa, in the province of Massa-Carrara. The church was built on the ruins of a private house on which around 1750 an image of the Virgin Mary was painted, which later became famous for the miracles attributed to her.

2. Pieve di San Vitale

The parish church of San Vitale, located in the hamlet of Mirteto in the municipality of Massa, is a sacred building located on Mount Olivero, in a dominant position with respect to the valleys below the Frigido river. Dedicated to San Vitale, it is the only one of the three parishes of Massa mentioned by the sources that have come down to us.

3. Monte Cavallo

Mount Cavallo is the second peak of the Tuscan chain of the Apuan Alps, on the border between the provinces of Massa Carrara and Lucca. The peak, located in the territory of the municipality of Vagli Sotto, belongs to the massif of Mount Pisanino, divided from it by the mouth of Cardeto, an important crossroads for CAI trails.

4. Monte Contrario

It is located in northern Tuscany, between the provinces of Lucca and Massa and Carrara; it is part of the regional park of the Apuan Alps and is recognized as a Site of Community Interest and a place of significant environmental interest within the EEC.

5. Buca del Muschio - Abisso Satanachia

The Buca del muschio cave is a large cavity in the Apuan Alps located in the municipality of Minucciano in the Province of Lucca. It is also referred to with the synonym Abyss Satanachia after the discoveries that extended its depth up to −1040 meters, accrediting it as the ninth Italian cave in order of depth.

8. Punta Carina

Punta Carina is a very sharp and elegant rock spire, 1670 meters high above sea level and about 90 meters from the base, which vaguely resembles the shape of a dagger and which is located in Tuscany, on the southwest buttress of Monte Cavallo, in the northern part of the Apuan Alps Regional Natural Park.
