Sightseeing Tours in Cosenza1. Teatro Rendano
The Teatro Comunale di Cosenza is located in Piazza XV Marzo, the largest square in the historic center of Bruzio, at 267 meters above sea level, and is dedicated to the pianist and composer Alfonso Rendano. It represents the only traditional theater in the Calabria region.
2. Santuario del Santissimo Crocifisso
The sanctuary of the Holy Crucifix is a religious building located in Cosenza, in the south-west of the city, at 258 meters above sea level. The convent-church complex is commonly called "Reformation" because from the eighteenth century it was a convent of the Reformed Friars, one of the many Franciscan families. These favored devotion to the simulacrum of the Most Holy Crucifix which since then has shown itself to be miraculous. This devotion was increased by the Capuchin Friars, to the point that, from Cosenza and elsewhere, today they identify the church where it is venerated with the name of "sanctuary of the SS.mo Crucifix" or more simply "church of the Crucifix", even if it is dedicated to Mary SS. of Constantinople.
