The Grand Hotel Brunate was the last work in the Art Nouveau style by the architect Giuseppe Casartelli. Located in Brunate, in province of Como, its construction was concluded in 1893, one year before the construction of the Como–Brunate funicular. Nowadays, after a renovation of the property, it is composed of private apartments.
2. Tempio Voltiano
The Tempio Voltiano is a museum in the city of Como, Italy that is dedicated to Alessandro Volta, a prolific scientist and the inventor of the electrical battery. Volta was born in Como in 1745, held his first professorship there until 1779, and retired to Como in 1819.

The church of St Andrew Apostle is a sacred building located in Brunate, in the province of Como. Dedicated to the Apostle Andrew, it serves as a parish church of Brunate since 1654. Of particular interest is the organ preserved inside the church.

The church of Sant'Agostino is a place of Catholic worship of Como, dedicated to the saint of the same name. It is the only cistercian Gothic church in the city. Inside is preserved the canvas of the Birth of Mary of Morazzone.
