1. Ex Museo civico
The Civic Museum of Belluno, opened to the public in 1876, is the most important museum in the city. It is located, as far as the historical-artistic collections are concerned, at Palazzo Fulcis, while until 2016 it was located in the seventeenth-century Palazzo dei Giuristi. It houses paintings from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century, drawings and prints, bronze plaques, sculptures, especially from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, as well as art objects such as porcelain, carpets, tapestries, glass and a collection of jewelry. The archaeological collection, consisting of finds dating from the Middle Paleolithic to the Early Middle Ages, still remains at the Palazzo dei Giuristi, while in the future it will be located at Palazzo Bembo, formerly a civil hospital, currently being restored.
2. Pelf
Monte Pelf is a mountain in the Belluno Dolomites 2,502 meters above sea level. It rises north of the city of Belluno, just east of the main peak of the group, the Schiara. It is nicknamed Fontanòn Mountain from the name of the waterfall located at the foot of its north face. The top of the relief is accessible via a normal route and two via ferratas: the Marmol ferrata and the Marino Guardiano equipped path. From the top you can enjoy a view of many peaks of the Dolomite arc.
3. Zimon De Terne
Monte Terne is a mountain in the Belluno Dolomites 1794 meters above sea level also called Zimon de Terne, which rises with a beautiful ridge south of the Schiara and from which you can enjoy the most beautiful view of its south face; for this reason the mountain is nicknamed the Belvedere on the Schiara. The top of the mountain can be reached starting from the Case Bortot car park, via CAI path number 508. The climb, although short, still involves a difference in altitude of 1100 meters. From the top you can enjoy an excellent view, as well as of the Schiara, also of the entire Val Belluna and of Pala Alta, Pala Bassa and part of the Monti del Sole. The mountain, characterized by beech and fir forests in the lower part, and meadows and rocks in the upper part, is also rich in fauna.
4. Pala Alta
The Pala Alta is a mountain in the Alps, belonging to the Schiara Group in the Southern Dolomites of Zoldo. It is located in Veneto, between the border of the municipalities of Sedico and Belluno, within the Belluno Dolomites National Park.
5. Belluno Cathedral
The cathedral of Belluno, also known as the cathedral basilica of San Martino, is the main Catholic place of worship in the city of Belluno and the mother church of the diocese of Belluno-Feltre. It is located in Piazza Duomo, in the historic city center. It was elevated to the dignity of minor basilica on June 18, 1980 by Pope John Paul II. It is an Italian national monument.
