The Carmel Horn is a peak in the Carmel ridge, and it rises to a height of 474 meters above sea level. The peak is located on the southeastern side of the Carmel Ridge, about 2.5 km northwest of Yokneam Illit, and about four kilometers southeast of the center of the settlement of Dalit al-Carmel. According to tradition, this was where the conflict between Elijah and the prophets of Baal took place, when fire descended from heaven and only Elijah's sacrifice was answered. For this reason, a monastery was established there in 1867 by Carmelite monks who came from Europe, who saw Elijah as a model of monasticism, religious fanaticism and total devotion to God, qualities that were expressed, among other things, in his war against the prophets of Baal.

Carmel Hai-Bar Nature Reserve is a 1,500-acre (610 ha) breeding and acclimation center administered by the Israel Nature Reserves and National Parks Authority, situated in the Carmel mountains in northwestern Israel, within the larger Mount Carmel National Park. The Carmel Hai-Bar is the Mediterranean climate counterpart of the Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve which operates in the desert. The University of Haifa is located next to the entrance to the park.

The memorial to those who perished in the Carmel fire disaster was erected near the bend in the road where 44 people perished in the Carmel fire disaster (2010) opposite Kibbutz Beit Oren. It was inaugurated on December 19, 2011, on the one-year anniversary of the disaster, in a state ceremony attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ministers, representatives of the Israel Prison Service, the police, the fire brigade and members of the bereaved families.

Givat HaHaganah is a peak on Mount Carmel within the boundaries of Carmel Park, at an altitude of 528 meters above sea level, covering 17 dunams. Named after the Haganah organization, whose members trained there.

Kedumim Quarries is an ancient limestone quarry from the Roman-Byzantine period located on Mount Carmel. The quarry is located on the side of a sharp curve of Highway 721 that rises from Atlit to Beit Oren along the bed of Nahal Oren and adjacent to the bed of Nahal Damon. Early quarrying marks remain at the site in the form of many steps of different sizes and directions. In the field, traces of quarryman's work can be seen in the form of diagonal and shallow grooves.
