Sightseeing Tours in Volkach1. Konstitutionssäule
The Constitution Column (Konstitutionssäule) is a 32 metre high landmark in the village of Gaibach, now a district of the town of Volkach in Lower Franconia in Germany. It is in the Schlosspark surrounding the Schloss Gaibach on the Hügel des Sonnenbergs just off Staatsstraße 2271.
2. Sankt Bartholomäus
The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Bartholomew and St. George is located in the old town of Volkach in the Bavarian district of Kitzingen. It is one of the landmarks of the small town in Lower Franconia and is visible from afar in the wine-growing region of the Mainschleife.
3. Oberes Tor
The Upper Gate in the south of the city is part of the city fortifications of Volkach. Its height makes it one of the landmarks of the small town in Lower Franconia. The gate used to lead to the Upper Suburb. Next to the Upper Gate is the so-called St. Joseph's Gate.
4. Brückenzollhaus
The Brückenzollhaus in Astheim is a listed building. It served as an official residence for the gatekeeper of the Volkach Main Bridge and is located on the western side of the Main opposite the city. Today it is used as a railway museum.
5. Unteres Tor
The Lower Gate is part of the city fortifications of Volkach. As the third tallest tower within the fortification, the gate is now a defining feature of the cityscape and used to lead over to the so-called Lower Suburb.
6. Rathaus
The town hall of the town of Volkach am Main is the representative administrative seat and landmark of the town of Lower Franconia. It is located in the central market square in the center of the old city.
