1. Alfred Toepfer Akademie für Naturschutz Hof Möhr

The Alfred Toepfer Academy for Nature Conservation (NNA) is a further education institution of the state of Lower Saxony in the fields of nature conservation, landscape management and education for sustainable development. It is a non-independent institution under public law and belongs to the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment. Founded in 1981, the NNA is based at Hof Möhr outside Schneverdingen in the Lüneburg Heath. It was named after him after the death of Alfred Toepfer in 1995, as Toepfer's acquisition of Hof Möhr in 1977 was the cornerstone for the establishment of the academy. The director of the academy is Eick von Ruschkowski.

"One World Church" is a church located in the southeast city of Schneiftingen. It was built in 1999 as part of the decentralized project of the 2000 World Expo. In a church of the world, an altar of the earth is the main attraction. It has collected many soil and sand samples from around the world in so-called books, which were contributed by donors. All the books are numbered and juxtaposed on a list, so that each book can mention the place where soil or sand samples are collected.
