1. Alfred Toepfer Akademie für Naturschutz Hof Möhr
The Alfred Toepfer Academy for Nature Conservation (NNA) is a further education institution of the state of Lower Saxony in the fields of nature conservation, landscape management and education for sustainable development. It is a non-independent institution under public law and belongs to the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment. Founded in 1981, the NNA is based at Hof Möhr outside Schneverdingen in the Lüneburg Heath. It was named after him after the death of Alfred Toepfer in 1995, as Toepfer's acquisition of Hof Möhr in 1977 was the cornerstone for the establishment of the academy. The director of the academy is Eick von Ruschkowski.
