The Rhine ferry Plittersdorf – Seltz is a yaw rope ferry across the Rhine south of Karlsruhe. It connects the French municipality of Seltz in Alsace on the left bank of the Rhine with the German Plittersdorf, a district of Rastatt, on the right bank of the Rhine. The operator is the French European Territorial Authority of Alsace. The use of the ferry is free of charge.

The Chapel of Maria Einsiedeln, also known as the Einsiedeln Chapel in Rastatt, is a chapel built in 1715 by Johann Michael Ludwig Rohrer as a replica of a chapel from 1709 from the Schlackenwerth Castle Park, which in turn was a replica of the pilgrimage chapel of Maria Einsiedeln in the Swiss canton of Schwyz.

5. Muffenheim (Wüstung)

The Muffenheim desert is a former settlement between Ottersdorf and Plittersdorf near Rastatt. The first mention of Muffenheim comes from the year 790 in the traditions of Lorsch Abbey. The place was probably founded in the 7th century, as row graves from the Merovingian period were found near the desert. It is assumed that the settlement was abandoned before 1510 and that the area was divided between the neighboring communities of Ottersdorf and Plittersdorf.

The Wehrgeschichtliches Museum Rastatt or WGM is a military historical museum in Rastatt, Germany. Since 1956, it has been housed in the south wing of the Schloss Rastatt. The museum was originally found in 1934 as the Badisches Armeemuseum. In 1969, the museum changed its name to Wehrgeschichtliches Museum.
