1. Moritzburg Castle
Moritzburg Castle or Moritzburg Palace is a Baroque palace in Moritzburg, in the German state of Saxony, about 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) northwest of the Saxon capital, Dresden. The castle has four round towers and lies on a symmetrical artificial island. It is named after Duke Moritz of Saxony, who had a hunting lodge built there between 1542 and 1546. The surrounding woodlands and lakes were a favourite hunting area of the electors and kings of Saxony.
2. Sächsische Gestütsverwaltung, Landgestüt Moritzburg
The Moritzburg State Stud is the state stud of the states of Saxony and Thuringia. It is located in Moritzburg near Dresden. Together with the Graditz Main Stud, it forms the Saxon Stud Administration and has been a commercially oriented state-owned enterprise since 2004.
3. Fasanenschlösschen
Das Fasanenschlösschen ist eine Schlossanlage in der Gemeinde Moritzburg bei Dresden, die im Auftrag des Fürstenhauses Wettin errichtet wurde. Es befindet sich in der 1728 angelegten Fasanerie des Schlossparks von Moritzburg und ist nach der dort betriebenen Fasanenzucht benannt. Das Schlösschen steht am Niederen Großteich Bärnsdorf; in seiner direkten Umgebung befinden sich Teiche und Wälder, Gärten und der ebenfalls im 18. Jahrhundert entstandene Leuchtturm Moritzburg. Das Gebäude ist durch eine Sichtachse visuell mit dem 1,9 Kilometer entfernten, westlich liegenden Schloss Moritzburg verbunden.
4. Wildgehege Moritzburg
The Moritzburg Game Reserve is an approximately 40-hectare wildlife park in the Saxon municipality of Moritzburg, about ten kilometres from the state capital Dresden. The facility belongs to the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
5. Leuchtturm
The lighthouse in Moritzburg is an inland lighthouse in Saxony. The staffage building (folly) was built in the late 18th century as part of a backdrop for re-enacted naval battles (naumachia). It is the only lighthouse in Germany built for this purpose and at the same time one of the oldest inland lighthouses in the Federal Republic.
