Erlebnispark Tripsdrill is a wildlife and theme park near Cleebronn in Southern Germany. Covering 77 hectares in total, the park offers 29 attractions, including museums, animal petting and feeding, roller coasters, playgrounds, and a theatre. Opened in 1929, it is Germany's oldest amusement park and is still owned and managed by the same family.
2. Holzachterbahn Mammut
Mammut is a wooden roller coaster in the Tripsdrill adventure park in Treffentrill. It was built from October 2007 to April 2008 and officially put into operation on 28 April 2008. For the construction of the 30-meter-high and 860-meter-long wooden roller coaster Mammut, 7,000 cubic meters of earth were removed, 70,000 wooden parts, two million nails and one million screws were used. The roller coaster Mammut was designed by the Munich engineering firm Stengel, the construction was carried out by the company Holzbau Cordes, which has also developed a special type of rail for this ride. The trains and the technology were supplied by Gerstlauer Amusement Rides. Through this combination of manufacturers and the wood used from German forests, the park advertises that Mammut is the first completely German wooden roller coaster.
