1. Wohnheim 1

The Old Mint of Clausthal is a building in the Clausthal-Zellerfeld district of Clausthal, Germany. It was built in 1726 and served as a mint until 1849, when the mint was moved to Hanover. Subsequently, it was used as the headquarters of the management of the Upper Harz Mines and Ironworks until the Alte Münze was converted into a student dormitory in 1950.

The Fachschule für Wirtschaft und Technik (FWT) is a private technical school based in Clausthal-Zellerfeld. The school, which was founded in 1998, sees itself in the tradition of the former Clausthal Mining and Ironworks School. In 1906, the company split off from the Clausthal Mining Academy and ceased operations on 31 July 1998.

5. Harzturm

The Harzturm is a 65-metre-high observation tower in Torfhaus im Harz, the highest village in the Upper Harz. At a height of 45 metres, two panoramic platforms, a skywalk with a glass floor and the starting point of a 110-metre-long slide can be reached via a staircase or an elevator.
