1. Ruine der Harzburg
The Harzburg, also called Große Harzburg, is a former imperial castle, situated on the northwestern edge of the Harz mountain range overlooking the spa resort of Bad Harzburg in Goslar District in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. It was erected from 1065 to 1068 at the behest of King Henry IV of Germany, slighted during the Saxon Rebellion in 1073-75, and a century later rebuilt under Emperor Frederick Barbarossa and his Welf successor Otto IV, who died here in 1218.
2. Langenberg
The Langenberg is an elongated chalk hill north of Göttingerode and south of Harlingerode in the spa town of Bad Harzburg in Goslar district, in the German state of Lower Saxony. Due to its obvious display of the Northern Harz Boundary Fault in the Langenberg chalk quarry and the discovery of the Europasaurus in 1998 in said quarry, this mountain has gained national geological relevance.
3. Liebfrauenkirche
The Liebfrauenkirche is the Catholic parish church in Bad Harzburg, a city in the Goslar district in Lower Saxony. The church is named after the Marient title "Our Dear Woman" and is located in Liebfrauenstraße 9. Its parish belongs to the pastoral area of Nordharz in the Deanery Goslar-Salzgitter of the Hildesheim diocese.
4. Canossa-Säule
The Canossa Column is a monument on the Großer Burgberg south of the town of Bad Harzburg in the district of Goslar in Lower Saxony, Germany. It stands on the summit region at an altitude of 482.8 m above sea level in the middle of a viewing area that offers a wide view of the city and the surrounding area.
5. Hansa-Lore
The Hansa Pit was a mine on the territory of Harlingerode in the county of Wolfenbüttel in the Free State of Brunswick and later in Lower Saxony, West Germany. It was founded on the Langenberg south of Harlingerode; however, the only remainders are located on the north side.
6. Lutherkirche
The Luther Church in Bad Harzburg is the church of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation of the city. It was built in the years 1901–1903 according to plans by the Bad Harzburg master builder Gustav Heine in neo-Gothic forms.
