1. Sankt Alto

The Catholic parish and former monastery church Sankt Alto and Sankt Birgitta in Altomünster, a market town in the Dachau district in Bavaria, was built in the second half of the 18th century at the site of a Romanesque building from the 13th century. The Church is consecrated to St. Alto, a hermit that is said to have founded a monastery in Altomünster after the legend around 760 in Altomünster, and the St. Birgitta of Sweden, the founder of the order of Redeemer. The church is one of the last large sacred buildings of Rococo, the ceiling frescoes by Joseph Mages (1728–1769) and Jakob Rauch's stucco decor are already at the transition to classicism. Most altarpieces were also carried out by Joseph Mages, the altars and the carving figures mostly come from Johann Baptist Straub (1704–1784). The municipality has been supervised by priests of the Teutonic Order for many years.

2. Gasthof Kapplerbräu

The Kapplerbräu Brauereigasthof is an inn with a brewery in the Altomünster market in Upper Bavaria. The baroque building with its curly gable was built at the upper market of the town at the end of the 17th or early 18th century. The Altomünster brewery museum was opened in 1985 in the associated former brewery and male building.
