It was bought by the town, restored and transformed into a museum, le musée-château d'Annecy. The castle is listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1959.
2. Palais de l'Isle
The Palais de l'Île is an old fortified house of the twelfth century, remodeled several times, located on an islet formed by the Thiou, which stands in the commune of Annecy in the department of Haute-Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

4. Le Pâquier
The Pâquier or Champ de Mars is a vast landscaped promenade of seven and a half hectares in the city of Annecy located on the shores of Lake Annecy and offering one of the most beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Today's Pâquier, dear to the hearts of Annecy residents and a source of wonder for tourists, is the central element of a larger set of parks and gardens with the Jardins de l'Europe, the gardens of the Imperial Palace and the beach of Annecy-le-Vieux, but originally the Pâquier extended over an even larger set of grounds.
