The Pâquier or Champ de Mars is a vast landscape walk of seven and a half hectares from the town of Annecy located on the banks of Lake Annecy and offering one of the most beautiful prospects on the lake and the surrounding mountains. The Pâquier of today, dear in the heart of the Annecians and the subject of wonder for tourists, is the central element of a larger set of parks and gardens with the gardens of Europe, the gardens of the Imperial Palace and Annecy-le-Vieux beach, but originally the pâquier spread over an even larger set of land.

The bell tower of Annecy-le-Vieux is a Romanesque bell tower located in the town of Annecy-le-Vieux, dated from the twelfth century. It is one of the elements of an old Notre-Dame church whose other components have now disappeared. It seems, however, that this bell tower has long been shared with the other church in the parish, Saint-Laurent.
