1. Iglesia El Rosario

The Church of the Rosary is a Roman Catholic building located on the east side of Plaza Libertad, in the historic center of the capital city of San Salvador, El Salvador. It has a modern architectural design that broke with the usual canons of religious construction in the city, that is, the Latin and Greek cross type. Compared to other temples, the church does not have pillars that hinder the visibility of the faithful towards the altar and the colorful religious images that stand out inside. In addition, this temple is recognized as one of the iconic buildings of the Historic Center of San Salvador, not only because of the relevant events, but also because of its unique architectural design that represents an important artistic manifestation and is a heritage protected by the Hague Convention.

2. Monumento a la Revolución

The Monument to the Revolution is located in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador, in the facilities of the Museum of Art of El Salvador, although it is not part of the collection of that institution since it is a national monument. Its construction began during the government of Colonel Óscar Osorio to commemorate the uprising that deposed General Salvador Castaneda Castro from power in 1948. It was completed in the administration of Colonel José María Lemus.

The Museo de Arte de El Salvador (MARTE), located in the city of San Salvador, is a private non-profit institution whose operation is the responsibility of the Asociación Museo de Arte de El Salvador. Its objective is to contribute to the educational and cultural development of the country through the conservation and dissemination of Salvadoran art. Since 2020 the executive director is Eugenia Lindo.

4. Museo Universitario de Antropología

The University Museum of Anthropology located in the facilities of the Technological University of El Salvador. It was inaugurated on June 23, 2006 and opened its doors to the public on July 4 of the same year. The building that houses the institution is called "Anastasio Aquino", known at one time as "Casa Ávila" in reference to a family that lived there at the beginning of the 20th century.

5. National Theatre of El Salvador

Teatro Nacional de El Salvador, or National Theatre of El Salvador began construction on November 3, 1911, by the French architect Daniel Beylard; and inaugurated March 1, 1917. It is of French Renaissance style with modern touches. It was decorated by the Italian architect Lucio Cappellaro, and its Great Hall is one of the most beautiful and elegant in Central America.

Monumento a la Memoria y la Verdad

The Memorial and Truth Monument is located in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. It was opened on 6 December 2003 and is located inside Cuscatlán Park. It consists of a wall of 85 meters long, made of black granite, containing the names recorded of at least 25,000 victims of the Salvadoran Civil War.
