1. Viborg Cathedral
Viborg Cathedral, Our Lady Cathedral is the site of one of Denmark's most important historic churches located in the town of Viborg in northern Jutland. The modern building is a 19th-century construction based on Lund Cathedral in southern Sweden which bears no resemblance to the medieval cathedral that stood on the site since 1130.
2. Mønsted Kalkgruber
Mønsted Kalkgruber is located at Mønsted south of Hjarbæk Fjord and west of Viborg. The lime pits are caves in a surface lime layer, where for many centuries lime has been broken, including for the manufacture of mortar for building churches and monasteries.
3. Borgvold
Borgvold is a park between Nørresø and Søndersø in Viborg, which was established in 1864 by castle gardener Tyge Rothe. The park contains winding paths, canal, bridges and a music stand as well as many exciting plants, including a collection of large rhododendrons. In winter, it is home to the city's ice rink.
4. Søndermarkskirken
Søndermarkskirken in Viborg was built in 1981 as a parish church for Søndermark Parish, which had been separated from Viborg Søndre Parish. The church's architect is Svend Frandsen from Viborg. The church appears very modern. The church itself is a circular building with a copper-clad dome. In connection with the church, meeting rooms etc. were built in 2001 as well as a free-standing tower.
5. Bruunshaab Gamle Papfabrik
Bruunshaab Gamle Papfabrik is a former textile and cardboard factory located in the town Bruunshåb, a few kilometers south of Viborg, Denmark. It was built as a textile factory by manufacturer Bertel Bruun in 1821. His sons Peter Daniel Bruun and Mads Pagh Bruun later took over the factory. The latter established the cloth mill Ny Bruunshaab at Aarhus.
6. Viborg Kunsthal
The Viborg Kunsthal located at Søndersø, Viborg, Denmark, presents changing exhibitions with renowned Danish and international artists and has existed since 1994. It has since been one of the leading exhibition venues for contemporary art in Denmark and is visited by over 20,000 patrons annually.

Grundtvigs Vej in the south runs in the south-eastern corner around a circle around the Blichergården Senior Centre.
9. Viborg Teater
Viborg Theatre is a theatre located in Gravene in Viborg. The building was designed by architect Søren Vig-Nielsen and inaugurated in 1909. The theatre building has been listed since 1986. The theatre is run by an association.
10. Det gule vandtårn
The Yellow Water Tower is a 23-metre-high water tower located at Skottenborg in Viborg. The tower was built in 1927 and designed by architect Søren Vig-Nielsen with the firm G.R. Øllgaard as engineer. It is located between the buildings at the Central Denmark Region's headquarters.
