Brahesborg

Brahesborg dates from the end of the Middle Ages, when one of Odense Diocese's accounting deans had his residence in Assens. There was also a manor here, which was called Bisbo or Bispestolgaard, and presumably must have belonged to the bishopric of Odense. The farm is located in Gamtofte Parish, Båg Herred, Assens Municipality. The main building was built in 1638-1656 and rebuilt in 1756.

Bågø Church is the church on the island of Bågø in the Little Belt off Assens. The church was consecrated on 3 November 1861 when the parish was founded and is located on the northern outskirts of Bågø town by the road to the island's northernmost point, Sommerodde. The church was built in yellow stone with a longhouse with a tower to the west. The tower was originally a pyramidal spire over four pointed gables, but in 1931 was changed to its current appearance. Originally, the church had two bells. The smallest came from Bågø Lighthouse, but at one point found its way to the church, where it was used to chime in for the holidays. In 1986, a new and larger one was ordered from the clock company Petit & Fritsen in the Netherlands, and the old bell was donated in 2002 to the friends of Baagø Lighthouse, a now discontinued association, as the lighthouse has come into private ownership and closed to the public. The bells have therefore been returned to the church. The church has 125 seats.
