Sightseeing Tours in Rijeka1. Zavičajni muzej Drenove
Association "Without Borders" is a non-profit organization founded with the aim of preserving the cultural heritage of Drenova and establishing the Drenova Heritage Museum as a framework for the realization of planned projects. Through its programs and projects, the association strives to ensure quality involvement of all residents of Drenova, especially the youngest. It is registered in the Register of Associations of the Republic of Croatia, pursuant to Article 14, paragraph3 and 4 of the Law on Associations on 14 May 2012 under the registration number 08003617.
2. Crkva svetog Jeronima
The Church of St. Jerome is located on the Rijeka Resolution Square in Rijeka. With its elegant late Baroque façade, it defines the eastern wing of the Municipija building, with which it once formed the complex of the Augustinian monastery. Monastery and church of St. Peter Jerome is also a mausoleum. In the cloister of the monastery is a lapidarium with tombstones from past centuries. In the presbytery are tombs of Augustinians, members of the Devin-Walsee family, Giuseppe Minolli and Claudio Marburg.
3. Peek & Poke old computers museum
Peek & Poke is the first Croatian museum of old computers and IT technologies. It opened in 2007 in Rijeka, in the city center near the Cathedral of St. Vid in the area of three hundred square meters, making it the largest lineup in the southeastern part of Europe and generally one of the first five museums of the same topic in the world.
4. City of Rijeka museum
The Rijeka City Museum is a general cultural and historical museum in Rijeka. The seat of the Rijeka City Museum is in the Sugar Refinery Palace. Other locations of the Rijeka City Museum are the building built in 1976 in the courtyard of the Governor's Palace and the motor boat Galeb.
5. Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum Rijeka is the first regional museum of the Rijeka area. It was founded on May 16, 1876 and opened to the public on May 1, 1946. It is located in Nikola Hosta Park, near the Governor's Palace, in the family building of Count Negronia.
6. State Archives in Rijeka
The State Archives in Rijeka keeps in its storerooms the written historical material of the Kvarner region, Gorski Kotar and part of Istria, areas that had a turbulent and rich past that left an abundance of written traces.
