1. Shuanglin Temple

The Shuanglin Temple is a large Buddhist temple in the Shanxi Province of China. It is situated in the countryside of Qiaotou village about 6–7 kilometres (3.7–4.3 mi) southwest of the ancient city of Pingyao. It is among the many cultural monuments located in the Pingyao, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site inscribed in 1997. The temple is protected by the state administration.

2. 乔家大院

The Qiao Family Compound, originally the Zaizhong Hall and officially Qiao's Grand Courtyard, is a courtyard house located in Qi County, Jinzhong Prefecture, Shanxi Province, China, approximately 30 kilometers (20 mi) northeast of Pingyao. It is the residential compound of well-known financier Qiao Zhiyong, who was the most famous member of the Qiao family. Construction began in 1756 during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor in the Qing dynasty and was completed sometime in the 18th century. The estate covers 9,000 square metres (97,000 sq ft) and has 313 rooms with 4,000 square metres (43,000 sq ft) within 6 large courtyards and 19 smaller courtyards.

3. Wang Family Courtyard

The Wang Family Compound is the largest of the Shanxi Courtyard Houses. Located in Lingshi County, Shanxi, the fortress compound is a tight arrangement of courtyard residences. It is one of 123 residences listed as part of the "Ancient Residences in Shanxi and Shaanxi Provinces" entry in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2008 in the cultural category.

5. Confucian Temple

Pingyao Confucian Temple is located at No. 120, Chenghuangmiao Street, southeast corner of Pingyao Ancient City, which was built in the early years of Tang Zhenguan and is the earliest existing Confucian temple in China; The Dacheng Hall of the Confucian Temple was rebuilt in the third year of Jin Dading (1163) and is the only Jin Dynasty building among the Confucian temples in China. The Temple of Literature is attached to the Shaoshan Academy, and the late Qing thinker Xu Jiqi served as the chief of the mountain and taught for ten years.

6. Qingxu Temple

Qingxuguan is a large Taoist complex located at No. 109, East Street, Gucheng Street, Pingyao County, Shanxi Province, China, within the Lower East Gate of the ancient city, only 100 meters away from the Lower East Gate (Qinhan Gate) of the Pingyao City Wall. The Pingyao County Museum is located here. There are no Taoist priests in the temple to practice. It has been listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Taigu Drum Tower, also known as Daguan Tower, is located in the center of the old city cross street in Taigu District, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and the white tower in the southwest is the two commanding heights of Taigu County, and is the landmark building of Taigu. It is now a cultural relics protection unit in Shanxi Province.

9. 城隍庙

Jiexiu City God's Temple is located at No. 275, East Street, Beiguan Street, Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province, China, which was built in the third year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1370) and overhauled in the eighth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1495). The existing buildings include the mountain gate, the stage, the bell and drum tower, the main hall, the east and west stomping halls and the east and west corridors. In 2013, it was listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
