The Casa do Anhanguera Museum is a seventeenth-century bandeirista house. This historical heritage was restored and listed by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN) in 1958. The museum is located at Largo da Matriz, n° 19 in Santana de Parnaíba, which presents in its architectural set a typical example of an urban bandeirista residence, being the only one of its kind in the state of São Paulo maintaining its architectural characteristics to this day. Built in rammed earth and rammed earth, it is presumed that the bandeirante Bartolomeu Bueno da Silva lived there.
